Fighting Hungarian Bolsheviks
[edit]In writing up this article I've removed a claim that he "fought Hungarian Bolsheviks in the Hungarian-Romanian War". I think the reference to him fighting Hungarians refers to the Romanians kicking the Hungarians out of Transylvania at the end of 1918/start 1919, before Bela Kun came to power. After that he was in Odessa/southern Russia until spring 1919 as far as I can see. It's possible he went back to Romania for a bit, but the books I've got don't say so. I can only go by the books I've got, so if anyone has expert knowledge of this episode, feel free to restore with a suitable cite and chronological clarity.Paulturtle (talk) 20:15, 9 January 2016 (UTC)
And I wouldn't be remotely surprised if, as in the Russo-Polish War a year or so later, the role played by French advisers was massively exaggerated by western writers, but again I can only go by what I've got.Paulturtle (talk) 20:16, 9 January 2016 (UTC)
