We definitely don't need two articles on this. Which is the official name of the paper? Acdixon 14:28, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies. I am the author of each article, and I agree Wikipedia doesn't need two articles on this. The first -- The Gleaner newspaper (Henderson, Kentucky) -- was recommended for deletion on the basis of it being a text dump. I created the second article -- Henderson Gleaner -- later and have added extensive internal links. I would recommend deleting "The Gleaner newspaper (Henderson, Kentucky)" article and keeping "Henderson Gleaner." As for the official name of the paper: Its masthead or flag reads "The Gleaner." However, there is also a Gleaner newspaper in Kingston, Jamaica, and there are number of existing Wiki articles that reference "Henderson Gleaner." Chuckipedia 14:42, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
