Importance scale

[edit]

Someone has given the article "mid" importance for Denmark but "high" for Sweden. This may be true locally, as more Swedes shoppes in Elsinore compared to the opposite. But when it comes to vehicles and especially lorries, then this ferry route is equally important to both the countries. In general is it economically better to use the ferries at the HH-route compared to the fixed connection. And the Danish lorry drivers affiliated to DSV uses the ferries. Their Swedish headquarters and huge logistic terminal is located at the E6 Motorway just outside Landskrona, just 25 km from the Ferry terminal in Helsingborg. Further Swedish Arla foods supplies Denmark with refined dairy products and Danish Danisco handles all sugar manufacturing from Scania (were some 90-95% of all Swedish sugar beet grow) etc. Hence one cannot say that the article is more important to any of the two countries, all matters included. And besides, as the article states, between 1720 (when a lasting peace between the former arch enemies began, and Scania became a formal part of Sweden rather than a captured territory belonging to the Swedish King only) until the mid 1950's, all crossing traffic was made by Denmark and Danish shipping lines only. I upgraded the Danish importance to "high", the same as for Sweden. My main concern was the unbalance, but especially when consider the history of the HH-route, I strongly feel that "high" importance is more correct than "mid" importance. Editorialising in section on -Temporary ID control for travellers to Sweden-

[edit]

Most article content is highly detailed on historical content, but the section "Temporary ID control for travellers to Sweden" contains editorialised and highly subjective political opinions in a biased manner. It doesn't introduce new facts in a logical or chronological manner. This section would either best be deleted or replaced with a link to the other wikipedia article (European migrant crisis[1]) which gives a more detailed and less biased account of border crossing activities between Denmark and Sweden. Information on the Temporary ID control coming from reliable and verifiable sources would potentially be better if added to the European Migrant Crisis article, to be better examined and refined.
