Different tracklistings
[edit]Are there several different versions of this album? Comparing the tracklisting on the article or on 7digital to the tracklisting on Amazon [1] there's a couple of tracks missing on the Amazon list. Specifically the Belle & Sebastian and Zutons tracks - the product description claims they are there, but a customer review says they're not. Are these exclusive to the download version? --Vclaw 18:19, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
My copy of the Album has different tracks to that mentioned in the article, much of the album is different, I have songs by Razorlight (Kirby's Child - it was remixed for their second album), Emmanuel Jal (Gua), Gorrillaz (Hong Kong), Magic Numbers (Gone are the Days), Tinariwen (Cler Achel), The Coral (It was Nothing), Mylo (Mars Needs Women), Maximo Park (Wasteland), Elbow (Snowball), Hard-Fi (Help Me Please), The GO! Team (Phantom Broadcast), Babyshambles (From Bollywood to Battersea) and George and Antony (Happy Christmas (War is Over) (Cover of the Paul Mccartney? song). As far as I can tell, this is alomst completely different to the listed tracks here - only similarities are Coldplay, Radiohead, Keane, Manic Street Preachers, Kaiser Cheifs, Magic Numbers and Bloc Party.--JerseySi 17:47, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
Isn't the title a reference to beatles songs ? Help! and A day in the life.
Just thought I should mention it. MrGater 18:42, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
Given that the first tracklisting is 22 songs (2 of which say "not on CD"), why do we need the second listing of 20 songs for the CD? Can't the first list be reordered and used for both purposes? --kingboyk 11:45, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
There's also an issue over the title of the Radiohead track; 7digital and warchildmusic both still refer to it as "I Want None Of It" (and that was certainly the name when I downloaded it) - but most people (including Radiohead fansites, Amazon and the BBC) refer to it as "I Want None Of This". Am I right in thinking that its title changed between the internet and CD releases? Growfybruce 18:03, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
"Mars Needs Women"
[edit]Is "Mars Needs Women" an original composition or a cover of the trance classic by Doof? --kingboyk 11:54, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
Bad title
[edit]The current title of this article, Help- A Day in the Life, is a poor choice since it doesn't follow any standard of English punctuation. Several alternatives of varying quality have been tried in the past (see page history). Personally, I considered moving it to Help! A Day in the Life, the apparent title based on the cover image in this article, until I saw the image in the AMG entry, where the punctuation mark does appear to be a colon. I would also suggest Help—A Day in the Life, Help — A Day in the Life, or Help – A Day in the Life as better alternatives (my vote would be for the last option). See the Dash article for usage notes on various kinds of dashes. This issue should probably be decided by the WikiProject Albums folks (to give the decision some measure of finality); I've already notified them. - dcljr (talk) 18:39, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- As the actual title on the album is Help! A Day in the Life and Help: A Day in the Life, the article should use one of those names. In this case one of the names conflicts with a namespace, which makes the choice between the two easy (as only one works). Album articles use normalized capitalization, but not normalized punctuation, with the occasional exception of added colons or dashes to represent line breaks. A colon or dash does not need to be added here as the exclamation point serves that function. So I say it should be Help! A Day in the Life. --PEJL 05:09, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- I agree with PEJL, Help! A Day in the Life is the title I would suggest as well. Seeing the album cover, it makes more sense anyway. --SoWhy Talk 10:35, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Help-A Day in the Life Cover.jpg
[edit]Image:Help-A Day in the Life Cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

A protected redirect, Help:A Day in the Life, needs one redirect category (rcat) template added and one may be removed. Please modify it as follows:
- from this:
#REDIRECT [[Help!: A Day in the Life]] {{Redr|to main|mod|protected|restricted}}
- to this:
#REDIRECT [[Help!: A Day in the Life]] {{Redr|to main|mod|restricted|from move}}
- WHEN YOU COPY & PASTE, PLEASE LEAVE THE SKIPPED LINE BLANK FOR READABILITY.
Template Redr is an alias for the {{This is a redirect}} template, which is used to sort redirects into one or more categories. The {{R protected}} rcat is not needed, because if {{pp-protected}} and/or {{pp-move}} suffice, the This is a redirect template will detect the protection level(s) and categorize the redirect automatically. (Also, the categories will be automatically removed when and if protection is lifted.) Thank you in advance! – Paine 09:27, 11 June 2015 (UTC)
