Plot lengths.

[edit]

While I appreciate any and every contribution to my articles, I would appreciate it if you wouldn't include every detail about the show. I refer you to Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Television#Plot Section. Thanks for your contributions, but please "Keep It Simple." — Wyliepedia (talk) 00:01, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You are absolutely right about not needing to be too detailed in the plot section, but remember: [...] and every contribution to my articles [...] (see here). Anyways, you did a very good job with the article, I remember when it was at AfC ;) Zidanie5 (talk) 12:10, 24 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Zidanie5, but when plagiarism and vandalism begin, I feel we article creators have to fix those additions. Therefore, I leave the word my. I've seen some series' articles abandoned/not created for such a thing. And if my corrections offend other people then perhaps they should read Wiki's rules too? Might I also add this: (See Single-editors). If people want to put in BLOCKS of plot, I would hope they ask first. I am a former journalist/blogger who wrote plots and synopses for other shows, so I think can be defined as an "expert in the field." — Respectfully, Wyliepedia (talk) 04:03, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

For the TV portal addition....

Wiki's civil war

[edit]

Currently, a debate is taking place here about the use of images in the Infoboxes for episodes, and their purpose. Feel free to weigh in on the issue, but I have a feeling the "powers that be" will rule that images for episode articles, which I use for a key scene from each episode, may be unnecessary. There are a thousands of episode articles with images on Wikipedia, but this week, one of mine got targeted. Should the one in question be deleted, I may remove them all from each of the HoW episode articles (since I was the one who created and put them there). NOTE: This does not mean the main series article's image. Again, feel free to weigh in on the issue here. Thanks. — Wyliepedia (talk) 15:40, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
