Trivia Section Removed
[edit]While expanding this article from a stub, I removed the Trivia section, which contained an unsourced and likely apocryphal anecdote, that would seem to belong more to London's West End theatre than Broadway.
"In one scene of the original production, Bogart appeared on stage carrying a racket and, as he glanced around at the other male performers, delivered the line "Tennis anyone?" The line was a result of the director's devising a setup to move some actors off the stage for a scene that focused only on the two leading actresses."
