Origin of name

Can the article state more about the origin of the name? I find the name "Helitron" so awkward... thinking of helios, the sun here ... 2A02:8388:1603:CB00:3AD5:47FF:FE18:CC7F (talk) 09:13, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
