Question
[edit]I have heard a theory where crystal growth determines the direction of where the helictite grows.
question ?
[edit]at near 100% humidity and varying pressures (not wind) could minerals form as if in a water rock garden ? = Helictite
this is a question any constructive answers or pointers on where to ask such questions would be much appreciated
thanks much

Do all Helectites have a central canal?
[edit]The following sentence is from the description of formation of helectites page. “However, the majority of helectites are not hollow” I can not find a single report which backs up this statement. I would like to know where it originated.
