D.O.B.?
[edit]Was she born in 1905 or 1902? Both appear in the text. Segis84 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 16:11, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Unfortunately, there's quite a bit in this stub that appears to have been lifted verbatim from the Encyclopedia Britannica site "Women in American History". Will have to come back to clean this up. J. Van Meter
Tamiris as gang leader.
[edit]Well, maybe one little fact may be added; as a surviving family member, I got to hear some stories about her. Always the organizer, as a kid in New York she used to mobilize other kids to steal food from the outdoor market vendors. She was a gang leader. Not exactly the kind of story you'd read in most wiki stubs. Also I think she did the choreography for the Broadway revival of "Showboat" in the 50's. Also the Broadway version of "Paint Your Wagon." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.174.232.163 (talk) 11:27 30 March 2024 (UTC)
