Rollason Way

[edit]

Is it worth mentioning that there’s a street in Brentwood, her home town, named after her … ? I happen to live in the street so that’s how I know[1]. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cuddy2977 (talkcontribs) 12:08, 13 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Done, I found a newsletter from Brentwood Borough Council discussing the road so I've added it as part of a general expansion of the article. This is Paul (talk) 20:00, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Gabby Logan vs Gabby Yorath

[edit]

I notice someone's updated the use of the name Gabby Yorath to Gabby Logan. While that is her surname now, I deliberately chose to refer to her as Gabby Yorath in this article because that was her name when Rollason was alive, and she was Gabby Yorath when she paid tribute to Rollason back in 1999, presented On the Ball, and so on. Is it correct to refer to her retrospectively by her current name? Or should we use the name she was known by at the time the events being discussed occurred? I don't suppose it really matters and it's just a case of me having a bit of article OCDness. But does anyone have any thoughts on this? This is Paul (talk) 11:55, 10 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
