[edit]

I am removing the request for deletion Christophe (talk) 15:24, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • You should not, only the closing admin can do that: removing AFD tags is regarded as vandalism... What you should do is go to the AFD discussion (linked in the tag) and participate in the discussion. In any case, I don't think that keeping the article is going to be any problem as this person is clearly notable. To restore the AFD tag, I had to undo several of your edits. Some more advice, therefore: if you want to list some publications of her, please restrict yourself to the most notable ones, generally 3, in extreme cases 5 (and in very extreme cases, like Albert Einstein, all of them...) . In addition, it helps readers if the references are as complete as possible (i.e., including journal names, volume numbers, etc. See {{cite journal}} for more information). --Randykitty (talk) 15:45, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I added 3 publications ("nur vom Feinsten" as the Germans say) this time they including all page numbers ;)--Christophe (talk) 16:25, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:External links"External links in an article can be helpful to the reader, but they should be kept minimal, meritable, and directly relevant to the article."

@Randy: Could you elaborate which of the external links you consider : not helpful not meritable or not directly relevant to the article? Thank you!--Christophe (talk) 16:47, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • External links are fine (up to a point) at the end of an article in a separate section. They are not fine in the main body (doubly so in case there is already an article on them, like The Endocrine Society). The tag is therefore completely justified. next time, before removing a maintenance tag, you'd better ask first before removing it. Thanks. --Randykitty (talk) 16:52, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
