Rebrand
[edit]References (this one, for example) state that building has been rebranded, but the old name is still prominent on the building's front, so it seems pertinent to keep the article at the building's old name until that changes. Seasider53 (talk) 13:35, 30 May 2022 (UTC)
- Prudent was the word I was looking for. Seasider53 (talk) 13:39, 30 May 2022 (UTC)
- Yeah I was just looking this up. It's confusing since they still have the Helen Day Arts Center business name registered but The Current Inc is the official business name of record. I'll set up some redirects so people can at least find it. Maybe later it might be worth a move. The Library definitely has its own name and brand too. Montanari and Lichtenthaeler may need their own articles
[edit]There's a lot of biographical information about the two women which may need to go in bio articles? here's the material I removed from the main article. Jessamyn (my talk page) 21:00, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
- She studied the Italian language for a year at Radcliffe College. She later married General Carlo Montanari, who was killed in World War I. After the war was over, she brought her three children to the United States and settled in Newton, Massachusetts. A few years later, she came down with an illness and was diagnosed by Dr. Lichtenthaeler. The two women became lifelong friends and eventually decided to share a house in Stowe.
- Lichtenthaeler, who was born in Reading, Pennsylvania, received a medical degree from Boston University in 1916 and practiced medicine for the next twenty-five years.
