Failed "good article" nomination

[edit]

This article has failed its Good article nomination. This is how the article, as of October 30, 2018, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?: The prose here is a bit choppy and short. If more research can be done you'll have more to write about and be able to turn it into more of a narrative.
2. Verifiable?: Looks good to me
3. Broad in coverage?: More information on the memorial itself would be good, the construction, art, etc. This article is all about the process that created the memorial and there is nothing about the memorial itself in this article.
4. Neutral point of view?: Good
5. Stable?: Good
6. Images?: Where are the pictures? It's a memorial, you need to have pictures of it for the article to be complete/good! I would be strongly opposed to GA status for this until some pictures can be found.

"but this is a controversial decision and has been contested" This sentence needs to be reworked as that quoted bit is repetitive given the subsection that it's in

When these issues are addressed, the article can be renominated. If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to have it reassessed. Thank you for your work so far.— Lordgilman (talk) 20:18, 30 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
