The person known as "Shitty Watercolor" is an influential person in international internet culture. While he rose to fame on the website Reddit.com, he has since been recognized and featured in several respectable publications and websites, including Huffington Post and CNN. Through his faux amateur watercolors, his message resonates with young people around the world, putting "Shitty Watercolor" in leagues with contemporaries of the present and past such as the artist known as "Banksy" and Andy Warhol. Further, "Shitty Watercolor" shares the stature of contemporaries such as Bono for harnessing the power of his fame for greater causes, putting on a performance (12 hour painting session broadcast on youtube.com) to raise funds for a charity.
Is there a difference between the importance, the cultural relevance, or the wikipedia page of Lady Gaga and Shitty Watercolor? Not really. So I urge the moderators to consider rescinding the deletion of this wikipedia page. Or at the very least, to provide further instruction on how it may be raised to acceptable standards.

karmanaut speaks on reason Shitty Watercolour was banned
[edit]"Shitty Watercolor got banned for editing ads into his comments after they were upvoted. If it had been any other mod, it really wouldn't have mattered. People were still just upset about the Bad Luck Brian thing." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Flimflamx (talk • contribs) 05:27, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
