There was some (natural!) confusion in the article about the identity of vessels of this class, in particular there was the following claim:
- HMS Aetna and the Erebus were involved in the bombardment of Fort McHenry in 1814.
It was the 1803 Aetna and the 1807 Erebus that took part in the Battle of Baltimore, whereas the ships listed here are the 1824 Aetna and the 1826 Erebus. Gdr 21:16:22, 2005-07-29 (UTC)
