Pele tower

I can't help feeling that something that's only four and a half feet tall isn't really going to be doing all that much dominating. Is its height actually correct, and if so, shouldn't its apparent effect on the surrounding area be stated in rather more modest terms?

very funny comment lol - now please read again:
In the 14th century the landscape WAS dominated by a peel tower.
A 4'6" (140 cm) tall wall, [...], could also be seen.
