note
[edit]This is definitely a notable article, but it's written very poorly. If I had the expertise I'd do it, but I hope someone takes the time soon.76.250.11.10 (talk) 08:14, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
- 13 years later... crickets. Meanwhile, loads of quacks promote various heavy metal detoxes. -- Dandv 04:57, 6 June 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Alexander Bloome made recent edits using the following sources:
- Chelation: Harnessing and Enhancing Heavy Metal Detoxification—A Review PMID 23690738
- A Complete Heavy Metal Detox Guide
- Mercury toxicity and antioxidants PMID 12495372
- The role of metallothionein and selenium in metal detoxification. PMID 23973552
- source #1 is OK but from a low quality journal; source #2 is spam; source #3 is PRIMARY and fails MEDRS; source #4 fails WP:MEDDATE. I removed this, as had Doc James before me. We can perhaps build some content from source #1 but this is weak...
- i think this search is better.. it turned up PMID 24113860 and PMID 24113858 (Both PMC free) and PMID 22489724 which looks OK too. perhaps we could build content from them. gotta run now. Jytdog (talk) 13:31, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
