Deleted improper nomination for deletion
[edit]The concern expressed is inaccurate. This book is not only notable as the first book-length biography of Heath Ledger published, but it has already been published, released in the UK in the first week of April, as stated in the template. Its subsequent publication date given as June 15, 2008, is its U.S. publication. Please read more carefully. Added further source citations making this account even more obvious. The information was already in the previous source citations as well. --NYScholar (talk) 22:26, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Whereas the excerpted article published in The Courier-Mail lists April 21, 2008 as the release date in the UK (which has already occurred), the release date is given as April 7, 2008 in online bookstores and catalogues [and news articles added as source citations and references]. In both cases, the release date has already occurred. --NYScholar (talk) 22:30, 24 April 2008 (UTC) [Updated in brackets. Also revised stub-template and categories.] --NYScholar (talk) 23:23, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- There is another biography on the same topic, Hollywood's Dark Star, which isn't nearly as notable as this one is. This Beautiful/Mysterious book has more publicity. Chantessy 13:10, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- I added Hollywood's Dark Star to the "Further reading" section of Heath Ledger#Further reading a couple of days ago; that book is not yet published and it has a red link because it is still forthcoming and there is, as yet, no article in Wikipedia on it. Until the book is published, it is not notable enough to be included in Wikipedia. After it is published, perhaps someone will add an article on it too. There is no reason to delete this article on an already-published book whose advance and current press indicates its notability. --NYScholar (talk) 23:16, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
