Synonym "lath-walled box"

[edit]

The York Archaeological Trust put out a publication where they called a box of this type a "lath-walled box" on page 2296.

They mention:

> Lath-walled boxes appear to have been made > and used in north-west Europe over a long period > of time. Fragments of a decorated lath-walled box > were found at the Iron Age site of Hallstatt in Austria > (Kramer 1960, Taf.2)
