By the way, I put the reference to spitting and Hibs on it. Yes, I am a Hearts fan, no I don't have much against Hibs, but certain ones tell me they do it for that reason! --MacRusgail 20:40, 13 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image

[edit]

I changed the main image to a higher resolution photo which also shows one of the mentioned brass markers. I assume nobody would object since it is near identical. If this is not the case feel free to discuss. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Delta-NC (talkcontribs) 02:51, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Football?!

[edit]

Not sure why someone decided this article was anything to do with football. Perhaps they were getting confused with Heart of Midlothian F.C. Zacwill16 (talk) 21:40, 26 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

tolbooth/tollbooth

[edit]

Shouldn't it be spelled with double-l? I'm not quite sure but I'm convinced that it was not a "simple" but a debtor's prison. When was the heart set into the pavement?--Mideal (talk) 15:13, 7 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
