Versions
[edit]In the release section Benelux is listed separately. I removed it but it was added back in with the comment "Singled out as it is a different version featuring 'Harry's Game', which other versions do not include." However the UK version includes Harry's Game, as does the US Release. The UK version has 14 tracks, US version 13, French release has 13 tracks. Many albums have slightly different track listings for different country releases, but that isn't really encyclopaedic. If we split one, then we must split all. There is no reason for Benelux to sit separate, and Wikipedia isn't a listings service of what is different in all versions.
Even without them being different, the release section makes no mention of any of this, just shows Benelux separate for no discernible reason. Canterbury Tail talk 18:12, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
- There are two Irish releases, altogether four various EU releases. All details are on their individual record companies websites, most of which are subcompanies of Edel Records.--Theosony (talk) 18:28, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
- Then the relevant information needs to be in the article, and referenced, or someone else will come along and may remove it as extraneous info that is already included. Also why has a new release been added to the album for the US when the US got a release in September of last year? We don't list every single re-release of an album, just first release. - They're not re-releases though. If you had researched you would find that the strings and orchestra have different mixes to the original and subsequental European remixes. And US has not been released mainstream yet.--Theosony (talk) 19:54, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
- So what's the version that I can walk out the door and buy in the shop here in the US then? I saw it just last night in all three record stores I checked here in New York. It's been released in the US, and is easily available in all record stores (though seems to have gone to the bargin bin in many now but that's irrelevant.) - LOL. Seriously, have you ever researched? Check out her band members site, Cormac de Barra. They are launching the album in the US, it's still not launched and the version is different. Also cover varies. Arguing with you over stupid things gets really boring after a while.
- Not launched, but available in every music store, odd. Sounds then like a load of money is about to be wasted on a specific launch for a product that's been available, and is already freely available in the location. Canterbury Tail talk 20:48, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

- It's not a "lot of money" if each run is limited to a certain country or area and the amount of record companies involved when you think about it actually.--Theosony (talk) 23:58, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- Still doesn't really make economic sense. An ad campaign yes, a new release separate to sit alongside those already easily available, no. Especially when, as I mentioned above, it's discounted and available in bargain bigs in many big stores. However this is of no encyclopaedic value, just my views.
