The result of the move request was: Not moved - until such time as the article reflects the content suggested. Fix the article first. A merge with Spanish National Health System may also be a consideration. Mike Cline (talk) 13:28, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
Health care in Spain → Health in Spain –
- to match category name; also, healthcare is sufficiently described in Spanish National Health System, so the broader article should cover health indicators instead. There is currently a redirect, so cannot do this myself. KarlB (talk) 14:50, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose. This is clearly about health care as evidenced by the opening "Health care in Spain accounted for 8.4% of GDP in Spain in 2006." Care is what is purchased and where the most spending is. Health is the result. There are many articles about health care by nation. If anything needs renaming it is the category or at least a split out of healthcare back into Category:Health care in Spain. - reply Thanks for your thoughts. As I pointed out above, Spanish National Health System is a wonderful article that goes into great detail about the health care system in Spain. Thus, this article could instead focus on health indicators. There is a bit of a hodge podge of article names; now that all of the categories have been put in place, I've been taking a look at article names. In most cases, I am not proposing renames; either Health or health care is sufficient, with a redirect, for most articles, depending on the common usage. However, in this particular case, given the existence of a basically -FA-class article (the spanish version was FA I think) on the health care system, we don't need a duplicate, so renaming to health is eminently logical and practical. Thanks. --KarlB (talk) 23:08, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
- It sounds like you are proposing a change in the contents of this article. As it currently exists, it is about healthcare. For this to be renamed, a case would need to be made that the Spanish National Health System is really an all inclusive article about healthcare in Spain. I'm not going to address this since I'm not familiar enough with their healthcare system to say. But I would consider the lack of an article on healthcare in a country a major omission.
