Health and Social Care Tax → Health and Social Care Levy – I am not sure why this article has been named the Health and Social Care Tax. The legislative, professional, regulatory and journalistic sources all generally use the term Health and Social Care Levy. I'd be surprised if anyone could find a reputable source labelling this the Health and Social Care Tax as a proper noun. mgSH 19:36, 20 September 2021 (UTC) — Relisting. - Comment: Well BMJ calls it a tax (here) for a start and they're fairly reputable. I think it was being referred to as a tax by the media to begin with but very quickly the description was changed. I'd created the article by this point though so went with the original description. I have no objection to renaming it though if that's the consensus. - Comment:I've relisted this as I'm on the fence about it. The media seems to use "tax" and "Levy" interchangeably, and since it IS a tax, it might benefit readers to call it that, but the "official" title seems to be "Levy". If we do keep it at this title, it should probably be renamed to a lowercase "tax" as that isn't the proper name. ASUKITE 20:16, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
- Support as Levy was the term used in parliament by the PM and Chancellor when it was announced on 7 September. MilborneOne (talk) 15:23, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
