Aircraft Heading

Heading is the direction the aircraft/ship nose points relative to true north or magnetic north regardless of the actual direction of motion, and is called "true heading" or "magnetic heading" respectively. It is measured clockwise from true north or magnetic north to the aircraft nose in degrees ranging from 360° to 359°.
