This article needs to be rewritten
[edit]It reads like it was written as a joint venture of the Hazelwood Chamber of Commerce and Bureau of Tourism. Too many examples to list, but it's full of "brochure speak."Highnumber 17:44, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
Shipping Center
[edit]Is Hazelwood a major shipping (mailing) center? All my Amazon stuff comes from there -- If so that should be in the article12.201.72.84 (talk) 17:42, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Manhattan Project Radioactive Waste
[edit]The City of Hazelwood has a long history of contamination with radioactive waste produced by Mallinckrodt Chemical Works. It was home to the Hazelwood Interim Storage Site (HISS) and also contains a portion of Coldwater Creek. I feel like this should be mentioned in the article seeing as, at least locally, it is one of the better-known aspects of the city. 2600:1700:E340:9210:F585:B3BB:5BF7:8764 (talk) 23:18, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
