In Frank Owen's Book, Tempestuous Journey, Lloyd George His Life and Times Lloyd George is said to have ousted Hayes Fisher as President of the Local Government Board. Evelyn Wrench, in his book, Alfred Lord Milner, The Man of No Illusions says the incident took place on 6 December 1918. The current Wikipedia says Mr. Fisher left his position on 4 November 1918.
