The information detailing the current Hawker Beechcraft operations at the airfield are slightly inaccurate. Rather than being just a support facility, all the major components including the fuselage, wings and tail for the 700/800/900 range are still produced here. They are shipped to America for final assembly. Raytheon Corporation no longer has any connection with this facility. The company, originally BAe Corporate Jets, was bought by Raytheon in 1992, but was later sold to Hawker-Beechcraft. Beechcraft has now dropped Hawker from its portfolio. At this time, 30th May 2013, it is not clear what the future is for production of the Hawker 700/800/900 range.

Radio Mandatory Zone
[edit]I've added a couple of links for the Radio Mandatory Zone section. One is a Serco press release, which may be the source for the section. The other is an Airspace Safety page (it's in section 06, but I don't think there's a way to link directly to it). It confirms some of Serco's statements, and gives some information about what an RMZ is and why it was set up there.
I haven't added any content as the Airspace Safety page isn't intended for the general reader, and I don't know enough about flying to be feel confident about summarising it. Aoeuidhtns (talk) 08:16, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
