The high school was also renovated during the 1979-1981 years. The auditorium stage lighting and sound systems were replaced, WHHS was relocated from the West end of the building to the old library space, along with a faculty kitchen, and a wheelchair ramp. A new structure was built in the former rear faculty parking lot. The new structure contained the relocated library and new classrooms. Infrastructure improvements were made, including updates to the electrical, intercom, and plumbing systems.
The shared track and football field got lighting installed.
