Hi SereneProf I have some recommendations for you regarding how to proceed with improving this article--

I think the layout could be restructured. Biographies tend to start with someone's early life and proceed chronologically from there. It's a bit counterintuitive that you start with her death.
Somewhat related to that, if you do keep the personal life section, I don't think death is generally included in that. Your options would be to split the sections (Later life and death; personal life) or to retitle the section (Personal life and death)
looks like this could be beefed up a bit. I found a couple of good references that I think could be really helpful
