Arithmetic zeta function

[edit]

Modulo finitely many terms in the Euler product, isn't the Hasse-Weil zeta function the same an Arithmetic zeta function? It seems like these articles should be merged or at least linked more clearly. 136.152.23.185 (talk) 17:31, 25 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Zeroes of the HW zeta function

[edit]

Does L_p(s,e) have any zeroes? I can't find any references to them.

Definition

[edit]

The scheme-theoretic discussion about reductions modulo p in the definition is not correct. There are no (canonical or otherwise) maps Spec Fp → Spec Q. Saying something correct here may take a moderate amount of rewriting. --Turgul2 (talk) 08:30, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
