Hassan Jameel
[edit]When was he born? Charlotte Peek (talk) 20:33, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
- Unknown. I can find no reliable source, however he started university in 1997: [1]. -- Softlavender (talk) 03:44, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
BLP violations
[edit]Fortune Mabena, please stop posting WP:BLP-violations on this article. Hassan is not "Deputy President and Vice Chairman of Abdul Latif Jameel", he is only Deputy President and Vice Chairman of domestic Saudi Arabia operations of the company, which has operations in 30 countries. Please also stop posting inaccurate birth dates from blatantly unreliable sources. Hassan started university in 1997 [2], meaning he was born around 1979, give or take a year. That's the only reliably cited information about his approximate age that we have. He was obviously not born in 1988; that would mean he started university at the age of eight. If you continue to make WP:BLP violations on this article, you will be reported to a noticeboard and either topic-banned from this article or topic banned from WP:BLPs in general. Fortune Mabena, Crunchbase is not a reliable source, and you have misread the other source you added [3], which says what I mentioned above: Hassan is only Deputy President and Vice Chairman of domestic Saudi Arabia operations of the company. The company's Deputy President and Vice Chairman is Hassan's older brother Fady Jameel: [4]. At this point you have repeatedly inserted clear BLP-violations despite several warnings and clear explanations, so I am reporting you to an administrator. Tag without discussion
[edit]In the absence of talkpage discussion I have re-removed the WP:DRIVEBY tag, per WP:WTRMT. -- Softlavender (talk) 00:24, 13 July 2019 (UTC)
- Comment: Just stumbled upon this article, and it does look like an advertisment to me. Judging from the edit history, some puffery was removed since 2019, but not nearly enough, so I think the article should be tagged for that (and maybe for possible WP:COI).
