Hello @Longhornsg: I was unaware that that source is a wiki. I agree with removal.

However that edit also restores the advocated past tense. Our article and the website say U.S. English is an extant organization. What makes you think that? Invasive Spices (talk) 18:17, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I couldn't find anything in RS about the organization being active more recently than the late 1990s or early 2000s. Even the tweet thread reports the organization in the past tense and is sharing information dated to 1996. Sure, the website is still up, but I'm not sure how up-to-date it is given the lack of reported on activity (after a good amount of reporting in the 1990s) and the fact that the organization's founder died 4 years ago. If you can find something more recent, I'd be all ears. Longhornsg (talk) 19:06, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Though to be honest, the previous U.S. English page could be improved and reconstituted as a standalone article. Longhornsg (talk) 19:28, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The website is a parked domain now, as of March 2024. The organization seems to be defunct--FeralOink (talk) 12:12, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
