Justina M. Barnicke Gallery
[edit]- I propose mentioning Executive Director/Chief Curator Barbara Fischer in the description of the Justina M. Barnicke Gallery. As a former curator of the Power Plant and Art Gallery of Ontario and curator of the Canadian Pavilion for the 53rd Venice Biennale, she is quite well regarded and certainly worth mentioning. C. Architecture and art
[edit]Surely some U of T person can say something about the architecture of this remarkable building. The Great Hall, the gym, and the library are rooms of great sophistication, although uncomfortably imitative of much earlier buildings at Oxford. The tower contains a keyboard-operated carillon, quite rare for Canada. And what about HH's art collection? We might also mention that another excellent building is right next door: http://www.utoronto.ca/uc/ LDH 11:02, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
Governance
[edit]I've updated the Governance section to accurately reflect transition to a new Warden. 64.228.68.49 23:40, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
I notice that my attempts to bring the Governance section of the House into line with current realities have been removed for lack of citation. I thought I would swing things the other way. I think the whole Governance section should be removed until someone documents it properly Lostphd (talk) 12:55, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
Orchestra information
[edit]An article on pages one and seven of The Canadian Statesman, 27 Mar 1958, seems to indicate that the Hart House Orchestra was in existence long before the date mentioned in the article.—Anne Delong (talk) 16:29, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
