--Thanks to the initial poster of the page. Here are my edits. Do what you like with them. --I thought the first sentence should actually mention what the scholarship is for --Not sure about the Truman Foundation as an "executive branch agency." It's not governed by President Bush. I'll go into the USC passage to check it out. --I didn't think talking about the Truman book thing as a "strategy" was appropriate. --The $30,000 can't be mentioned as an afterthought. It's the main benefit of the scholarship. I moved it to the top of the page. --MattDartmouth 20:23, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that the $30,000 should be at the top of the benefits section, but I think "primary benefit" is too strong a term, at least for some people.

I went into the Truman website used as the cite for schools with the most Truman Scholars. This site obviously involves woeful underreporting of scholarship winners from previous years. There definitely weren't only 5 winners in 1990! I appreciate the work that went into the tables, but I'm removing them from the page because they're obviously wrong.--MattDartmouth 20:01, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
