GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria

Overall very nice. A little small, but I think it's size fits the topic. I have a few comments, questions, and complaints that I've detailed below. I've put the nomination on hold, so please let me know when you've addressed it all and you'd like me to have another look.

  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
Moslty fine, though I've made a few small notes below.
    B. MoS compliance:
    Same as above.
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. References to sources:
    B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
However, some info about how it was commercially received would be nice. ie, number of downloads, how much money was raied/contributed to charity, etc. But obviously that depends on whether that info is ever released.
    B. Focused:
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
    B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
No single/album cover to go along with it? Anything embedded into the mp3?
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:

  • "as a charity download single" perhaps "as a downloadable single for charity". I'm not sure charity should be used as an adjective here.
  • Done, I reworded download as downloadable and removed the word charity altogether as it becomes clear later in the same sentence that the proceeds were donated to charity.
  • "sold for £1 from the band's website" wikilink the £. Same with $.
  • Done
  • "and a string part" part? try and reword.
  • Done
  • "The song consists of Thom Yorke's singing and a string part arranged by band member Jonny Greenwood." Seems a little weird that you mention that Greenwood is a band member, but not Yorke.
  • Done
  • "from quotes from Patch" avoid using "from" twise back to back.
  • Done, reworded to "by"

GA Passed Very nice article, clearly up to GA standards. For further improvements, I would suggest expanding the article wherever you can, specifically with data concerning the song's commercial/charitable success. And of course, I'd urge everyone involved with getting the article to this point to consider contributing to the GA review process as well. Drewcifer (talk) 05:30, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
