25 miles in one hour
[edit]Hill became the first person to cycle 25 miles in an hour on an indoor track, in Milan in 1937. I don't understand this claim. The hour record exceeded 25 miles in July 1898 (Willie Hamilton Colorado Springs, USA 40.781km). By 1937 the hour record was 45.485km = 28.26 miles.
Can somebody explain please. Chienlit (talk) 14:34, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
