Royal Army
[edit]My mistake. I was adding the "Royal" everything else and ended up getting the "British Army" when I searched for the "Royal Army."
To all, thank you so much for the additions! Who knows? Given a little time (for writing), this could end up a decent write-up.
I have been looking for pictures of Smart that can be inserted. Again, thanks! Mkpumphrey (talk) 18:10, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
- Just done some work on the article but I cant find anything about him after his accident in 1941, not even where he died. You may be able to use the image from rafweb if no free images are available, just need a fair use rationale to why it should be used. The Framlingham webpage also has a smaller version of the same image. MilborneOne (talk) 18:31, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
- The "Air of Authority" link indicates that he was the "AOC, No 17 (Operational Training) Groupe" from November 1941. One of the other "Gazette" links has him retiring soon after the war. I am logging out for now.Mkpumphrey (talk) 19:21, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
