General: Article is new enough and long enough

Policy compliance:

  • Adequate sourcing: No -
    • [1] does not appear reliable as to the year Crosbie bought Kittiwake (seemingly a blog), and [2] does not verify 2008.
    • Neither cited source verifies 2021 as the year that Kittiwake was moved.
  • Neutral: Yes
  • Free of copyright violations, plagiarism, and close paraphrasing: Yes
  • Other problems: No - The "Personal life" section violates WP:BLPNAME. Please remove the names of Crosbie's wives unless they have significance beyond being his wives.

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: No -
    • ALT0: Question? Depends on resolution of sourcing issue above
    • ALT1: checkY
  • Interesting: Yes
  • Other problems: No -
    • ALT2: Struck as veering on promotional
    • ALT4: Struck as non-neutral ("saved")
QPQ: Done.

Overall: @Bogger and SeoR: A few issues to take care of here. Regardless of the sourcing issue on ALT0, my preference is for ALT1, although I'd recommend unlinking "British Ambassador" and either dropping the comma after "in part" or transposing "for" and "in part". -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|she) 02:06, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Added better sources for actual dates (2007, and 2022) for Kittiwake. Spouse names removed-Bogger (talk) 08:59, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Tamzin: Happy for slightly adjusted ALT1a: ... that Dublin property developer Harry Crosbie received an OBE from the British Ambassador for, in part, entertaining Her Majesty with his showbiz contacts? thanks -Bogger (talk) 08:59, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Bogger: Sorry for the delay here. Was less active what with Thanksgiving and just now getting back to this. Thanks for adding the sources. 2022 checks out. The afloat.ie source didn't seem to verify 2007, but this other afloat.ie source linked from it did, so I've taken the liberty of replacing the source. Let me know if there's any issue with that. I would still have some questions on the wording of ALT0, but if we're both happy on ALT1a, then let's go with that. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|she) 04:08, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Tamzin: that's fine by me. Thanks. -Bogger (talk) 09:24, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
