Talk:Hargray Capitol Theatre

[edit]I've declined to speedy delete the article under criterion G11, blatant advertising, because I feel the text is salvageable. However, I do agree that the tone is promotional—it probably reads a little too close to its only source, the CCT website. Accordingly, I've tagged it for cleanup as advertising text and for primary sources only. —C.Fred (talk) 17:27, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
Text like the following is what has a lot of my concern about the advertising tone still in place:
- A man named Tony Long had a vision for downtown Macon, Georgia.
That reads like a flyer for the theatre, not an encyclopedia article. —C.Fred (talk) 04:43, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
