Submarine
[edit]This BBC News bulletin from 1 May 1983 has a brief story about a submarine from an unknown country believed to be hiding in the Hardangerfjord, and Norwegian attempts to force it to surface. Does anyone know anything more about this story? What happened in the end? Was this sort of thing a common occurrence in those Cold War days or should it be mentioned in the article? 79.72.209.87 (talk) 00:15, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Here's an interesting reference. 79.72.209.87 (talk) 00:16, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
And I've since come across an article on the Swedish submarine incidents.... 79.72.209.87 (talk) 00:56, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Third largest
[edit]This page says Hardangerfjord is the third largest in the world (meaning third longest, from the context). But the fjord page says the three longest in the world are Scoresby Sund, Greely/Tanquary Fiord, and Sognefjord. Pfly (talk) 07:48, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
