- No, it belongs right here. Kapn Korea
- That's true, and the matter deserves more said: Yes, a lot of what it says is more obviously lexicographic, and WP Dab pages don't exist to do the job of dicts. However, what the Dab Hard is for is to get people who want to know more about hardness of substances (perhaps the Moh scale) bcz it helps to understand that hardness is not just about hard vs. soft, to understand how you measure hardness, if you help them find the title of the article on the hard/soft distinction, and help those who've just read about "beaching on the hard", perhaps better by helping them understand whether it is the sailors or the boats that get beached. If all you need is a definition, a dictionary will save you time. Encyclopedias are for when you sense there's more you need understand about the context.

Sexuality
[edit] Few of our readers will need a Rdr or Dab to get them to Erection when they encounter "hard" in this context. But those few turn out to be another good reason for the page. A little research turned up this] evidence that the corresponding Dab entry i found was insufficient. Pretty obscure, but i can recall many years during which i'd have needed either that external link, or the additional internal link that i added to the Dab, to unpuzzle this talk 'graph.
