Wikilinks on Emberland and Steffensen?
[edit]Terje Christiansen added wikilinks to Karl Oscar Emberland and Espen Steffensen with the edit summary: "Emberland and Steffensen is as notable as Eid, Sandane, Stryn and Glomnes; so either all should be linked or none." Per WP:REDLINK we should have wikilinks to articles that "should be created for the topic because the subject is notable and verifiable." Eid IL, Sandane TIL and Stryn IL have played in 3. divisjon, and consensus is that this confers notability, and we should encourage the creation of those articles. Same goes for Torbjørn Glomnes, he has managed a team in a fully pro league (Tippeligaen), and passes WP:NFOOTY, so we should have a wikilink in this article, even if it a red link. From what I can see, Emberland and Steffensen has not played or managed a team in a fully pro league, and fails WP:NFOOTY, and I can't see any other way that they are notable, and that's why they shouldn't have a wikilink. - I can agree about Emberland and Steffensen, but this is what the link you provided says about 'managerclubs' "Clubs listed can be both local and national and should be restricted to those ordinarily considered notable in themselves." Based on this I do think that the clubs you removed can in fact be kept. – Terje Christiansen (talk) 12:50, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
