Proposing updated introduction

Following Gmcbjames's suggestion above, I've written up a proposed updated introduction for this article. At the moment the lede is very short and doesn't reflect the full article content, so I've tried to summarize the details into an extended version.

As I do have a financial conflict of interest (I'm here on behalf of The Wyss Foundation as part of my work at Beutler Ink), I'm proposing this rather than making the edits myself. Below is my suggested version and the markup for ease of making the updates:

Proposed lede
Hansjörg Wyss (IPA: /ˈhɑːnz/-jorg wiz) (born 19 September 1935) is a Swiss entrepreneur, businessman, and philanthropist. He is the founder and was president, then chairman of Synthes USA, until its sale in 2012. Wyss, who lives in Wyoming, has supported philanthropic causes relating to environmental protection, social justice and science. His contributions led to the establishment of the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University in 2009 and he created the Wyss Foundation, which aims to conserve natural environments, including public lands in the Western United States, Africa, and South America. As of 2017, Wyss has a net worth of US$5.6 billion, according to Forbes.[1][2]

On being a "Swiss billionaire"

What does the phrase "Swiss billionaire" actually mean? He lives in Wyoming and appears to have lived there for a long time. Clearly he was born in Switzerland. Is he a citizen of the United States? If he is, I wouldn't call him a "Swiss billionaire". I'd call him a billionaire who resides in Wyoming and was born in Switzerland. Novellasyes (talk) 21:43, 8 April 2021 (UTC)

900-acre > 2,081-acre?

The third paragraph under "Personal life" says: "In 2000, Wyss purchased the 900-acre (3.6 km2) Halter Ranch[...]. The ranch includes an 1,800-acre wildlife preserve and a 281-acre vineyard[...]. Either one of these numbers is misstated or the ranch has expanded since 2000. Billfalls (talk) 15:22, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
