Yuri Smirnov feat
[edit]"During the Vitebsk-Orsha operation, on the night of June 24, 1944, Yuri Smirnov participated in a night tank landing that broke through enemy defenses in the Orsha direction. In the battle for the village of Shalashino (Orsha district of Vitebsk region) he was seriously wounded and captured by the enemy. On June 25, the Germans, after cruel tortures, crucified Smirnov on the wall of the dugout, stabbing his body with bayonets." It was Trout's war crime, on his orders, an 18-year-old teenage soldier was tortured and killed. If you want, you can add why he was given 25 years in prison (of which he served 8). 85.140.13.23 (talk) 21:41, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
