Revisions to be made

[edit]

The synopsis is sort of lengthy, and not written very coherently; it should be revised to be more "to the point". There are fragmented sentences that need to be fixed in order to make the writing more professional. Some things do not make sense and need to be further explained. Lastly, the "In Other Media" section needs to revised so as not to include loosely related information. Mtemaat (talk) 16:14, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I think the article would also benefit from a picture so that readers may be more able to visualize the story Mtemaat (talk) 17:13, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The synopsis includes irrelevant information and needs to be shortened. The video game reference and the "See also" section can be deleted because they don't add anything of importance to the page. Two of the sources used are connected to the game reference, and the finale one is questionable.Gbone42 (talk) 21:26, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The beginning does not tell when the original text was printed and only mentions the second.Gbone42 (talk) 21:43, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I think the tale structure would be more organized with the addition of a list of the characters after the synopsis. Lorenx17 (talk) 03:01, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the addition of a picture of the tale illustration would make the article more appealing Lorenx17 (talk) 03:25, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

In my opinion the article requires a section with a further explanation of the meaning behind the tale. Lorenx17 (talk) 03:39, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am planning to add a transformation and/or a gender and/or a clothing and/or a morality section(s) to the articleGbone42 (talk) 16:44, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I plan to edit the character section to further explain each characters purpose/roleGbone42 (talk) 19:04, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Action taken

Cultural influence?

[edit]

The tale begins:

Es war einmal ein Bauer,
der hatte viel Geld und Gut,

On the other hand, I recall a german drinking song

Es war einmal ein Hamster,
der hatte der Weiber vier.
