Untitled
[edit]Around the rise of ISIS /ISIL, Hannah Allam began to appear on news shows as a person of significant special knowledge of the reasons for current conflicts. She has also appeared with Bill Moyers on 'NOW with Bill Moyers'.[1]
If deleting this stub will help to preserve her life, so be it. But ... she seems to be a quite a person of significant knowledge at this time, and she was, indeed, a 2009 Nieman (Journalism) Fellow (not given out carelessly; only given to to very accomplished journalists).
Her Twitter page seems to post pithy news about her - her writing and her whereabouts. She often criticizes American 'Islamophobia'! She is Egyptian. US and Egyptian armies are thinking of working together. Much relevant information on her is NOT in the article; I had hoped that it would be 'dredged up' by more meticulous Wikipedians. Improving Article
[edit]- Removed orphan tag because now three Wikipedia articles link to this article.
orphan
- Removed 'dead end' tag because there are now aa number of live links from this article to other Wikipedia articles.
- Removed 'improve' tag because most statements have been documented with footnotes or other Wikipedia articles.
- Removed 'notability' tag because Hannah Sims Allam's numerous awards in journalism (since 2004) should be sufficient indication of her notability, as are her recent appearances on national news programs, including Bill Moyers Journal (2014, as well as 2004).MaynardClark (talk) 03:39, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
