Why
[edit]I read this article, but it gives no clue why this is done. Is finger animation really a big deal? I don't even notice the hands of animated characters. I get no sense of why this is even being discussed from the article or why this topic is significant.139.48.25.60 (talk) 15:38, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
To an animator this article is very significant as it takes an absurd amount of time to key frame realistic looking fingers/hands.
