ThinkFree Corp. vs. Haansoft Corp.
[edit]The ThinkFree website claims that ThinkFree Corp. makes ThinkFree Office, while other places on the web say Haansoft Corp. makes ThinkFree Office. Could someone clarify this situation? —Tokek 08:38, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
- Haansoft owns many companies, ThinkFree Corp. is int'l company that owned by Haansoft which only deals with ThinkFree Office suite. --Korsentry 05:19, 13 March 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by KoreanSentry (talk • contribs)
To clarify Hansoft was the company's old name. It is now branded as Hancom. See CI
Hancom Group has a number of products and services. ThinkfreeOffice was one of the product lines. They have rebranded as Hancom Office. This will go live very soon and I will cite when this occurs. The Hancom Office will also need to updated as ThinkFree DocsConverter... soon to be Hancom DocsConverter.

[edit]A substantial portion of the article was copied verbatim from the "Hancom takes vision of independence" link. It should be rewritten especially for copyright reasons. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.125.78.77 (talk) 07:39, 27 June 2018 (UTC)

I will be revising the Hancom Product line in next week or so. This will coincide with Hancom updating its website and a PR announcement.

GPL Violations
[edit]A series of recent edits have removed critical information from this page. The following factual statement was removed, "In May 2017 Hancom lost a lawsuit in US Federal Court for violating the GNU GPL license as a consequence of using the source code of PostScript and PDF interpreter Ghostscript." The sheer number of edits makes it difficult to revert. It should be considered vandalism! 67.60.109.13 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 15:27, 5 July 2020 (UTC)
