Ambiguous
[edit]So, did Jeen get 25 years OR did she get life in prison? There can be only one maximum. Could someone who knows about it please clear it up. Thank you. Philippics 18:52, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
I think she got 26 years to life. There was a year added because there was a gun involved.--UltimatePyro 05:03, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
- It is most certainly 26 years (min) to life (max). Several original sources have corroborated this and the sentence has never been reduced or modified in any way (through appeals or any other process e.g. new findings, etc.) Bsharkey (talk) 05:17, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Immigrants/American life
[edit]Location(s) of Sentence
[edit]Would anyone out there know how i can contact Jeen Han,where she is serving her sentance. Ken canada 01:48, 5 August 2006 (UTC) August 4th 2006
- It is public knowledge and has since been added in the article. Bsharkey (talk) 05:19, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Parole Date / Contradictions
[edit]An episode of American Justice just aired and said parole would be eligible at the earliest in 2000. Can anyone cite the 2016? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.233.78.201 (talk) 05:53, 10 December 2006 (UTC).
According to a special that aired on the Oxygen channel "Snapped" Jeen Han was sentenced to 26 to life on jan 16 parole in 2020. This program interviewed the sister, lawyers and police officers involved.
This article and Jeen Han's article seem to disagree about when she'll be up for parole. This one says 2016, the other one 2020. Sloverlord 02:11, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- The article you're referencing no longer exists (deleted as "unreferenced negative bio per WP:BLP"), however I am attempting to corroborate this information to ensure it is factually correct here and can be maintained correctly going forward. The earliest possible date as reported in various sources is/was 2020. There is no evidence to date that this has ever been moved up. I do not know where the rumored 2016 date came about. Now this article reads, there is a "hard release date of 2018" which appears even more suspicious, being that the sentence would have to have been shortened from by two years, and has by all indications never happened. Something tells me both of these additional dates is/are original research and auspicious at best, perhaps even wishful thinking. The description "hard release date" certainly comes off as unsubstantiated. A parole board would have to approve any such release, so there could never be a hard release date, definitely not 8+ years in advance. Bsharkey (talk) 05:45, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
A conspiracy of one?
[edit]How is this a conspiracy ("an agreement between two or more persons to commit a crime")? Who is the "evil" twin's co-conspirator? -- Finlay McWalterᚠTalk 20:05, 5 February 2016 (UTC)
What happened?
[edit]Really an incomplete article as of right now. What happened? This article is only about news and feature coverage of this case, but it says almost nothing about what was actually going on. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 18:25, 19 March 2016 (UTC)
