Conflicting materials on Date of Birth

Initially it was included in the article as February 2, 1982, supported by Cinefox inline citation, removed as per Special:Permalink/1240252705#Han Ga-in. Various South Korean IPs and a newly registered editor (appears to be same person based on behaviour and edit summary) then edited to February 25, 1982,(1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) before another Malaysian IP included February 16, 1981,(1) supported by The Chosun Ilbo inline citation which considered as reliable as per WP:KO/RS. To date, we already have three different date of birth hence I believe that WP:CTOP, WP:BLPSOURCE, and WP:VNOT applies here as the subject's date of birth is questionable and we should err on the side of caution in which WP:EXCEPTIONAL sourcing should be provided instead to establish consensus before the date of birth be reinstate. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 12:40, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Found a reliable article per WP:KO/RS (The Chosun Ilbo), stated Feb 2, 1982 (Lunar) is date the subject was born and based on Hong Kong Observatory conversion table, we can infer that the subject birth date is indeed February 25, 1982 as the earlier editor/revision implied. 183.171.113.127 (talk) 11:11, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@183.171.113.127 The Chosun Ilbo source references Daum Cafe, a blogging platform which is considered as unreliable source per WP:BLOGS. While The Chosun Ilbo is generally reliable, referencing content from a unreliable source doesn't make the source reliable. Additionally, the statement based on Hong Kong Observatory conversion table, we can infer that the subject birth date is indeed February 25, 1982 falls under original research. To reinstate the birth date, multiple high-quality sources is required as per WP:EXCEPTIONAL policy to establish consensus. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 14:22, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
